Back in 2019, we received a request from Mobilis asking whether we could show the little ones the large antenna that had recently been installed on the "D" tower. Naturally, we said yes, although, to be honest, we didn't exactly know what we were getting into. We prepared feverishly for the first meeting. We brainstormed a lot about exactly what to show them. We developed a methodology for sharing our knowledge. We split the visiting group into two, so that we could answer the younger ones' questions in an even more personalized way. We didn't want to scare them away from the magical world of radio telecommunications. We unanimously decided that we didn't want to teach them Maxwell's equations just yet. That could happen a few years later, should they choose our university and faculty. Until then, let's explore the world of satellites together with them!
We wanted to know what they take away with them from us, so the word-clouds below were created as well. We look forward to welcoming the young ones again next year!
