The expansion of our ground station started in Debrecen, which will be placed on the roof of the K0 dormitory in spring after renovation.

On Friday, November 28, at 7:44 PM Hungarian time, the Falcon 9 Transporter-15 mission launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base, carrying our SZESAT satellite. We followed the rocket launch together in the dormitory and online.

As part of the HUNOR program, we prepared to contact research astronaut Kapu Tibor on board the ISS. He answered questions from children and demonstrated his space experiments, which we were also able to perform ourselves at Mobilis. The photos and videos cannot convey the excitement when Kapu Tibor greeted us in Győr through the airwaves.

The CelesTrak chart shows the final year and a half of MRC-100's (NORAD 56993) orbital decay: the gradual descent of apogee and perigee to the 200 km threshold, until the satellite re-entered the atmosphere in January 2025.
