It was a joy for us to meet returning familiar children again as part of this year's summer children's university. We came up with a program fitting the digital-themed week. Setting aside classic presentations, we kept playfulness in focus.
The students could help set up grandma's cathode-ray TV so she wouldn't miss her favorite Italian series. Student teams competed in a quiz show on space travel and satellite topics. They could win "space forints" for correct answers, which could later be exchanged for valuable prizes. Naturally, the young people also got a taste of the world of radio communication and Morse code. We hope we sparked the young people's technical interest and that they will remember this playful program for a long time. We look forward to having the students back next year for further adventures!
