This year the 10th World Telecommunication Day was held at our university. From the perspective of our antenna project (later our SZESAT college), this event can nevertheless be considered the greatest milestone. We gratefully recall how the NMHH embraced our team and our ideas, which brought about the complete renewal of the satellite laboratory. We must also mention the help and support of NMHH's technical experts, who gave us advice while still letting us develop, so that we could experience the beauty of the profession by following our own path. Whenever we got stuck solving a problem and they saw us getting discouraged, they always had a good word for us that helped us achieve success. Several of these experts came from within the walls of our own university, and it was a good feeling to work together with our predecessors. We received something more from them than just tools. This opportunity encourages us to show in the coming years everything we are capable of in the field of space research and space telecommunications.
Let these photos, taken during the opening of our laboratory, stand here as a memento.
The archive reports are based on the college’s contemporary documentation.
