1U CubeSat in Earth orbit
Our first own satellite reached orbit on 28 November 2025. Its onboard systems transmit telemetry on UHF, which the ground station in Győr receives and archives on every pass.
3-metre GRID antenna and ground station
Silurus is the backbone of the lab: automated azimuth-elevation tracking with an in-house motor controller and position control. This is where we talk to SZESAT-1 and to amateur radio satellites.
Stratospheric balloon and airship experiment
A self-built payload lifted into the stratosphere: live telemetry, an onboard camera and environmental measurements. Analysing the recovered data is a core part of our student research work.
Moon-bounce communication and radio astronomy
In our EME experiments we receive signals reflected off the Moon, and our radio astronomy measurements study the radio emission of the Sun and the Milky Way.
